With a limited budget, it is impossible to enjoy a luxurious vacation. If you are dreaming of having one, you should spend for it–and the word BUDGET is out of this topic. Well, it isn’t the case now–because I just discovered that it’s possible. In fact, I just had an affordable luxury staycation at the Alpha Suites Makati.
Location
The Alpha Suites Makati is located in the prestigious Makati business district on Ayala Avenue, which boasts the best offices and restaurants, shopping centers and schools.
My First Impression about the Alpha Suites Makati
At first, I was curious and I was very interested to know if this is really a five-star accommodation. I saw the rooms and facilities during the ocular, and I was totally impressed. Now all I need is to confirm if their tagline The Luxury Hotel Experience, Redefined is true or not. So, the excitement begins 😁 as we have our affordable luxury staycation at the Alpha Suites Makati.
The exterior of the Alpha Suites Makati is simple, and you won’t think it offers an accommodation with state-of-the-art amenities. The lobby features enough seating areas for guests, while they are waiting for the check-in and checkout. The modern interior design and furnishings create a welcoming ambiance, accompanied by the warm gesture of the efficient reception staff.
◦ The Check-in Process
It took us about a minute to check in. The front desk staff explained everything to me. Once we got our ID cards, we were immediately escorted to our assigned suite. I will give you a room tour later after showing you the amenities😉

Specialty restaurants
There is no need to go out, as there are nine world-class restaurants inside the property.

You may also opt for room service if you want to have your food delivered to your room/suite.
The Swimming Pool
Your affordable luxury staycation isn’t complete without the swimming pool. Here, you can take a quick dip, which is located on the 6th floor (near the Balesin Islander). It is perfect to relax with the pool view while enjoying cocktails 🍸🍹
Gym and covered court
For the fitness-conscious customers, there is a gym for your daily training, a boxing ring for boxing and martial arts on the fifth floor. There is even an area for basketball, badminton, tennis, squash and table tennis on the 4th floor. Additional sports equipment is available for rental.
Grocery
Affordable luxury staycation means you can still be on a budget. If you don’t like to order food from the restaurant and prefer to cook your own food, you can buy groceries from the Marketplace in the basement.
Room Tour
Ooh-lala! This affordable luxury staycation won’t be complete without a room tour. We stayed in a two-bedroom deluxe suite at Tower 1 residences on the 43rd floor (room 43 EF). I chose this room category because of its features.
The Living Room
The living room has a sofa, shelves and a TV with breathtaking views of the city. Everything is automated here—you can use window blinds, TV elevators, lighting, and air conditioning by simply tapping on the menu on the wall.
Kitchen
It also features a fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, refrigerator, wine chiller, oven, dishwasher and other premium appliances. Unlike other hotels where you cannot cook and bring your own food, it is permitted here.
Bathroom check
This is my traditional bathroom check, and 👍 and a BIG ✅ for the bathrooms 🚽 in our suite. We actually have 1 powder room ( a toilet for visitors so they won’t be using the private bathrooms in the bedroom). i like this for privacy 😄
The only thing that we don’t have is the bathtub 🛁, but all the bathrooms are equipped with luxurious bath and body amenities, bathrobe, and slippers— vanity area, toilet and rain and hand shower 🚿
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms come with luxurious beds with 100 % cotton and quality linens.
The master’s bedroom has a bigger toilet and has its own mini-ref.
What I love about the Alpha Suites ♥️
Cleanliness
Our suite and overall property are clean and well maintained.
Spacious wardrobe/ closets
If there’s one thing I really liked, it’s the spacious, multi-purpose mirror closets where you can organize your belongings and outfits for OOTDs. An iron and ironing board are also available.
Freebies
Everything you need is provided in the suite— even dishwashing liquid, sponge, powdered soap, and fabric softener 😄
Other five-star hotels have Nespresso machine in their rooms and suites. At the Alpha Suites Makati, where you can have your affordable luxury staycation, the Caffitally coffee machine is provided.
Luxury brand Roberto Cavalli toiletries 🧴 are provided in each toilet.
The Breathtaking View
For staycations, I prefer a room with an amazing view, so I can relax. This is what I love about the Alpha Suites.
Spacious bathroom
Everywhere you go, in our suite, there is a toilet 🚽 and bath and I love the cleanliness and comfortability.
WIFI connection
There is no limit to the devices you can connect in their WIFI. I got to work, check my emails and update my social media accounts.
Entertainment (TV)
There are two televisions – one in the living area and one in the master’s bedroom. You can watch your favorite TV programs too.
Front desk staff/concierge
It’s easy to contact the front desk officers. I asked for help to make the induction cooker work, because we couldn’t turn it on. A staff came in within a few minutes to help us, and we were able to cook our food.
Breakfast Buffet
Breakfast is available at Balesin Islander from 6am to 10am. There are a variety of food choices, but because I am a very picky eater, I just had garlic rice, scrambled eggs, congee, muffins and a glass of orange juice.
Swimming pool
I wasn’t able to enjoy the pool, because I brought the wrong swimsuit 😂😂😂 Anyway, my kids did, so it’s fine. I just sat on the lounge chait while watching them and took some photos.
Comfortability
I don’t have any complaints because we have almost everything we need. I even washed and dried our clothes 😁 There were no wet clothes in the suitcase this time!
Sleep quality
They have soft beds. We adjusted the aircon temperature and wrapped ourselves in the comforter. We had an uninterrupted sleep 💤 and it’s very convenient because each room has a toilet 🚽.
Coffee-making facilities/freebies
Of course, our staycation won’t e complete without having coffee. I’m glad they provided coffee capsules ☕️❤️
Is this worth the price I paid for?
The overnight rate for a two-bedroom deluxe suite is ₱12, 420.00 (with buffet breakfast for 4 pax). Considering all the above advantages, DEFINITELY, everything is worth it.
Overall Impression & Recommendations
Based on our recent stay at the ALPHA SUITES MAKATI, I can say that you can have an affordable luxury staycation. I highly recommend it not only for overnight staycations, but for long stays as well.
